I have had great luck with my van, which is my only vehicle when it's not winter here in MN. Bessie has been with me for about 6 years now, with only one major problem, my Dad and I had to replace the head gaskets 2 years ago. The exact mileage is not known. When I got it 6 years ago from the dealer, the odometer was broken at 76,000. I know that I travel at least 15,000 miles in summer traveling to BMX races all over the U.S. And when I say luck, I mean luck, since I had been doing all this traveling with regular old green antifreeze, tractor exhaust from fleet farm, and fram filters. This spring, I have completely repaired my van the correct way, thanks to all the knowledge gained from reading the list and vanagon.com. Here is what I fixed on my van this year, new shocks, new CV joints, new AFM, distributor, cap, rotor, air filter, idle air stabilizer, fuel pump, fuel filter, and all new exhaust, removed the AC, and cleaned all the grounds. My van worked before, but now it runs great and I can travel with confidence, since I did all this stuff myself. bye, Kim
