It has come time to replace those sad little bushings on the selector shafts or our 4 speed.

Can anyone share their thoughts regarding the best method to remove the pin holding the shaft in the selector lever? (Talking about way back at the transmission here.)

Also, how much play is to be expected at the ball and socket joint between the 'selector lever' and the 'gearshift lever'?
