VW RSA = Volkswagen Republic of South Africa.

I'm sure they will happily sell to anybody with money. You're on your own when it comes to getting one through Customs though.

In most of the world outside the United States and Canada the Vanagon was/is known as the Caravelle.

My ignorance is showing, but where does VW RSA exist, do they sell to the US? I am not certain I know what a Caravelle is. Its a european version of the vanagon, right? Which model does it closely resemble?

I could never afford one even if I could get one, but the idea of having a new vanagon helps me make it through a tough day. It would be beyond great to have a new one.

Just dreaming like a lot of you.
