The BD rotors are most likely Italian made - I got a set of these from Ken at Vanagain last year, and they seem to be holding up well - no complaints.  If you are doing a complete brake job, you may want to consider rebuilding (or replacing) the calipers as well.  Rebuild kits are cheap, and relatively easy to perform.  I seem to recall Ken or Ron having a deal on complete new caliper assemblies a while back, so you may want to check that as well.

  Shop here (not noted for good prices obviously) wants $119 each for front rotors for my 89 syncro (product #251 407 617Q.  Found them at bus depot for $39.95 each.  Sounds like a great deal.  Anybody tried this product from BD?
