is there anyone on this list from the bay area who has done the tiico engine conversion on their vanagon? would love to actually see and drive in one. i just sold my miata and i'm going to use the money to purchase teh engine kit for my '87 syncro. woo hoo!!

also what are my options for selling the engine currently in my vanagon? it's got 160K original miles. engine still runs strong but i'm guessing the head gaskets will probably need to be replaced sometime.

thanks. ki
