Subject: 1.9 wasserboxer firing order
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Was trying to set my timing today, but could not determine which cylinder was number 1. Went though the bentley for like an hour but could not find any mention of firing order or even cylinder numbers. does any listers have the answer, or am I just that blind and can't locate this in the bentley. Please show me the way.

BtW, tried first to figure out which one by just trying each wire until I found one that let me shine my strobe on the timing mark, the only problem is that not one cylinder got even close, it is as if my timing mark didn't exist. And originally thought so until feeling around the pulley was able to locate it. Well, at least I Know my timing is way off. The bus seems to run good though despite a lumpy idle, and so so mileage, like 17mpg. hopeing a timing adjustment to tdc or btdc we improve on this.
