Thanks for all the feedback guys! Got the timing all dialed in today, I am going with 3 degrees btdc. The idle has improved. I didn't really have to use My timing light, Started to tune by my tach, till I got around 850rpms. Double checking with my strobe showed it as 8 degrees advance. minus the 5 degrees the mark represents gave me the above. Now lets see how this will affect mileage, it shure accelerates somewhat better.
