Hi Jonathon,

We have stayed at the Hickory Run State Park and it was pretty nice. It is one of the few, maybe even the only PA state park that has showers. They were not 4stars but acceptable with mandatory flip-flops.

Hickory Run is near the intersection of RT 80 and the PA 9, the northeast extension of the PA turnpike. This time of year the State Parks should be pretty empty.
