Subject: What sensors would I "shotgun"?
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

My '87 Westy Synchro 2.1 WC has 125K with a rebuild last year. Engine work resulted in new radiator, major hoses and water pump. Bottom line is: "I don't want to break down in the tules and have it hauled a zillion miles back to a repair shop".

Question is, of the electrical/electronic sensors that are still original, what would a paranoid enthusiast have replaced, thinking that the old ones could then be carried as spares?

What should a spare ECU cost? Are used ones available?

Thanks, Tom Salicos
