If you jump the two lines like this, you will get reduced flow to the front heater box (path of least resistance). Probably better to simply cap off the two tees that come into the area under the back seat. My tees were so fragile, that maneuvering them to remove the rear heater broke them up. I replaced them with two "heater hose repair kits" which have barbs on the ends for a more secure fit.
