There was some discussion on this a few months back. It seems that the final consensus was that the FI is optimized for 87 degrees, and unless you have a very marginal cooling system, you will get better driveability and fuel economy at 87. I would think if your system was THAT marginal, it would be advisable to do whatever is needed to demarginalize it.
