> Is there a quality/performance difference between the South > African and the more costly German radiators sold by Bus Depot?
Actually I haven't had either of them come back defective since I've started selling them. I'd feel safe putting either in my own Vanagon. Most people buy the cheaper one, but I offer the German one for those sticklers who like nothing but German parts on their Vanagon. (However, the U.S. distributor for the German one discontinued it, so once my current supply is gone, the South African one will probably be the only choice.) The S.A. ones are original equipment from VW/SA, and are $172 with listmember discount. The German ones made by AKG/Germany (an OE supplier) and run $228.
