Hi, I have seen stuff like this in the following catalog: www.mcmelectronics.com You can buy raw displays, tuners, etc. Most of their stuff is generic low cost items. Disclaimer: I do not work for them or have any financial interest in them -- I just am an occasional customer. Michael P.S. I chose the Kenwilfy method of buying the Philips 13" TV / VCR combo from WalMart and a 600W power inverter. However, my 16 guage cable through a 30 Amp fuse could not carry enough current from the battery for the startup surge. I guess I'll have to use 8 guage wire and / or a big capacitor for this inverter to work. ---------- > From: T Berk <tberk@mindspring.com> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: LCD screen mods - keeping kids happy > Date: Monday, May 21, 2001 4:05 PM > > Andrew Grebneff wrote: > > > > >Hello folks - got a MacGyver question for you.
