Hi Larry! very interesting trip... really enjoyed reading. I wish to do it the other way...I sold my west a month ago and now drive a 85 diesel le sharo and i have to say that I also love this camper, with all its problems???...just came back from miami where i had left winnie the bear ( no reseach on this name has been done) with clutch problems in march... I did one thing I always wanted to do: drive along the coast from miami to myrtle beach, and then the interior, 501,95 to 66,81,88,87 and 20 to quebec city...I already have almost done the coast from maine to myrtle ...sad, that i only saw about 4 westies along the way. a good friend of mine, who had been doing some mountain climbing in labrador many years ago, left quebec city last october for a three weeks vacation to goose bay in a nissan.I was supposed to be part of this trip, but was elsewhere then.. they blew the gas pump (800.$cdn) in fermont and had to stay for a few days, but it was a very interesting trip just the same, different kind of life is it not? I just printed your trip...9pages, it is a good thing that it only took you " one or three minutes to write it"??? pierre a. lachance lac beauport, quebec |
