I have tried to search the archives (unsucsessfully - page not displayed is all I can get) Is there anywhere where all the pieces that should / could be replaced when dropping the gas tank is listed? Seems like I have seen a lot of partial info posted on this list lately. Any web sites with the details? I have the dripping when top-off syndrome and need to replace the gauge sender at the same time. Someone mentioned a couple of check valves that they replaced. Feed me you thoughts and I'll compile a list if there is enough agreement on items and post it. Also, Bus Boys shows two filler pipes for the early (80-83) vans; an original and a replacement (84mm) filler. Anyone know the story here? - Should I be replacing my filler pipe at the same time (if I have the original one)? Thanks to all John Reynolds 81 Westy (Cal. model) |
