Not so mon frere! Racers use water mixes, and for years only alcohol was added as a freeze protector. The boiling point is raised by the pressure in the system as well. Water is simply the best heat transfer medium. See the link to Hypercool on the http://no-rosion Web site for a discussion of this, and Hypercool is definitely a product for desert dwellers to consider.
