Well Texas isn't like the Pacfic Northwest where you'd be hard pressed to swing a dead cat without hitting a Vanagon. I have had contact with two other listees here and I've met one non listee Vanagon owner. A little more than a year ago I bought some parts from a listee in Austin but I think he's moved on to Florida. I'd be up for a gathering sometime. As a former Alaskan I gotta tell you the misquitos down here, though plentiful, are pretty puny -- they just don't drone like the Alaskan State Birds around Denali!
