Subject: Stock interior Questions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Hello everyone!
I just gutted out the last remains of a "MARK 3" conversion out of my 85.
My questions::
Does anyone know where I could come across a stock headliner assembly and
upper interior panels?
Are the upper panels just material adhered to the sheet metal or is there
a physical panel there. I am clueless to what the stock interior setup
is. I have the removable seat in the 2nd row with flip flop back and the
3rd row seat folds over to become a full size bed. The headliner that was
in place was a piece of white paneling with a set of map lights wired
in... supported by 2 long strips (8"x 10feet) of particle board that was
upholstered with red velour. Can you feel my pain??
anywho ... any info of where i can get something would be appreciated.
Thanks
one more thing....... What the difference between a regular 85 vanagon
... a "L" and a "GL"????
thanks
