>I don't care about Subarus.

We're sorry for you!

>Please, buy a Subaru.

CXan't afFORD it.

>Marry a Subaru.

Now, THERE's an idea!

>There are things better than a damn Subaru.

So? There are better thungs than Porsches too (though not in the sportscar world, except maybe an NSX).

>Subarus and their transmissions break, too.

The cars don't, the autotrans unfortunately do, SVX included. >\ >You are comparing a 1960's 2.7 Porsche motor (Redline over 7000 RPM, thank >you) with a one-in-a-million 1990's Subaru SVX motor. It's an ideal upgrade for the air-cooled Vanagon.

The Subaru may well not have a turbo or variable inlet or catcon. Water cooling means a HEATER. It's the ideal upgrade for a watercooled Vanagon.

The WRX is 290PS, from only 2 liters. That's 145PS/liter. It's NOT a racing engine... those put out over twice as much reliably, still from 2 liters. What's your Porsche engine's specific output?

>All Subaru fans, the line is forming to the right. The cliff ledge is >waiting.

Great! 4WD will let us climb it no worries! We'll look down on you from the edge.

>Oh, and please don't make me quote my Porsche books.

Hee hee.
