My favorite spot for an overnite or two is Refruggio State Park, about half an hour north of Santa Barbara off 101. Quiet, right on the little crescent shaped beach, lovely tiled coin-op showers (uses quarters)-- picnic tables, water. About $10 a nite & worth it! Be sure & carry in food for your stay, nothing close by. There are always other Westys camped here & it's a popular spot for surfing.

In the Mendocino area, the favorite spot is McKerricher State Park, just north of Ft. Bragg. Right on the headlands overlooking the ocean. Phaedra '85 Wolfsb Westy
