Subject: 1.9 l question

Working on a van I bought for resale......It has been stood up for about 2 years.

The PO put a clutch in it, and did not bolt down the slave cylinder, thus no pedal(previous post). I fixed that, and a coolant leak...........today I fix the alternator bracket he has attached with a coat hanger!!

Anyway, it fired right up. No exhaust system on the car at all.........It is in pieces (broken)pieces, laying by the car. The O2 sensor is just laying in the engine compartment.

Here is the problem. Coolant in the system, needle on gauge cluster all the way to the left and red light blinking. Where is the sensor located? I figure there is a wire off.

2nd prob. Car will idle, and when I press the accelerator pedal down, no significant increase in rpm's...slight maybe to 2000 rpms, but no more, and the throttle is opening..I have watched it.

Any help is appreciated, for I have already lined up a buyer for the thing, and I need to have it ready by Friday.(The buyer knows that I am working on making it run)

TIA Adam Puzerewski
