I missed out on the original post, but if there was anyway you could detour uup to I-40, it's a much prettier drive. NC TN, AR(except from Memphis to Atkins where all the rice fields and urbana are) I-40 in AR will be sloweer going though, as several chunks of it are under repair A 4 hour side trip up Hwy 7 from Russellville to Harrison(or cut over west to Fayettevill and down I540 back to I-40) and back is one of the prettiest drives in trhe Mid South. If it would rain some, you could canoe the Buffalo while you were up there, not crowded during the week anyway.
