Subject: longer studs available again

Hi gang,

Last month, I arranged to have a couple of hundred of the longer studs from my parts guy. There were quite a few folks who wanted some but they ran out. Today I got a call that they just got more on hand.

These are the racing type w/ a nipple in the end to aid in wheel mounting. You cna cut-ff the nipple if you don't like it. (No. Mike. Not that kind of nipple). They are about 12 mm - 14 mm longer than stock not counting the nipple (about ½ inch longer). The base plate is slightly smaller than the stock ones. Perhaps some of you who got them last time can share their experience in fitting them. I haven't tried mine since they ran out last time.

They cost $2 each plus shipping. 10 studs cost about $3.95 to ship via USPS. 20 studs are about $5.50 to ship. My parts guy does not charge me any sales tax. That's 8.5% where I live. Apparently this is a good price. The first batch or 200 that I arranged to obtain lasted less than an hour.

Pmail me if you have any interest in this. Please be kind and patient since I am doing this only as a courtesy to the lists. I am not making any money on the deal.
