I live in Dallas and often go camping. Listings are in ordewr of preference. Possum Kindon Lake (40 NW of Mineral Wells) Lake Whitney (60 Miles South of Dallas) Bardwell Resivour (Ennis 42 Miles South of Dallas) Purdis Resivour (Near Cedar Creek Lake off Hwy 175) I may be moving to Tyler area soon. Dallas is just too dirty and noisy.

You're sure right about Vanagon Westies and even earlier vans, they're not plentiful in Texas I see about four Vanagons around town on a regular basis and seldom see them when I'm camping or traveling.
