Subject: Van/squid connection...
Content-Type: text/plain

This is too wierd - ther aren't that many vanagons on the east coast, but in Newport Rhode Island, there are a ton of them - I saw 3 in three blocks of driving, then two westy's on the commute home. When mentioning all the van on "the Island" (Newport is on Aquidneck Island - also called a sqid's neck island) to a friend, she said "I don't know what it is, but the Navy people seem to like them"!

Man I thought all the referneces to kayaks, wooden kayaks and small sail boats like Dovekies and West wright potter's was strange! Anybody into Herrshoff, or wooden sailboats as well? Chickens, composting - Whoa I releasing too much information.

John Reynolds 81 Westy, kayaks, Sunfish, Super Snark Steal rides on Herrshoffs (15's -E-Boat, 12 1/2"s)
