Thats an interesting name, and those are excellent attributes (fast, honest, not expensive). I wish I could find someone who fits those attributes up here in the Bay Area. When I was down in Southern California my best experience was with Precision German Motors in West Covina. Up here in the Bay Area, Volkscafe seems decent but their garage is too small so you have to schedule in advance if they'll even let you do that, and really I prefer that the guy I talk to at the counter is a mechanic himself and not just a translater of what the "mechanic" did or found. Then Fred's Garage in Redwood City wants 500+ to put in a radiator. 350 to 400 seems reasonable, and something about the people there leave me unsettled. Like they did some work on it and the receipt makes no mention of how many miles were on the vehicle, nor is there any mention of what part numbers were used, and when they looked at the radiator they didn't pressure/ize the system to check for leaks. I don't know if I'm overeacting because I don't know them or what, but I miss Precision.
