Dear Steve,

Avoid Nebraska at all cost! No offense to you who live there, but it can make your vacation a nightmare, while bulking up your arms and dulling your mind. I've driven the state a few times and every time I do I think they must be home to wind. Someone quick, put up a bunch of windmills!

If you do make a trip up to Minnesota may I suggest The North Shore of Lake Superior, Itaska State Park and the Lake of the Woods? You could even get a route out to Mt. Rushmore, as I understand GW is planning a likeness of himself there.

The roads are good, lots to see, cooler temps, no Grizzly bears ripping doors off Westfalias for food...just a thought.

Sincerely,

AB in Minnesota
