CAVEAT EMPTOR!

You probably haven't tried an MV's seating arrangement during a protracted test drive...adults or near adult size humans have real problems in fitting knees and feet in the facing seating positions. Even the Vanagon Carat facing positions can be cramped. And the Vanagon Carat's interior has more space between the rearbench and the rearward facing seats!

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!

PS: Kids of a certain age don't like to sit across from each other ("S/he's staring at ME!!...etc).( 'course mine are slowly drifting away to college and their own lives )

All that said, I'm beginning to warm up to the idea of a 2001 MV with moonroof..;-) I'd go the MV/Weekender route IF I didn't feel the lack of rear AC would wilt the rear seat passengers in 100F+ conditions. Anyone want to correct my misperception?
