The Digiject FI system and the hall sending ignition are totally separate from each other in the 1.9L wasserboxers. The ignition system in my carbureted 1.9L boxers is the same as the ignition system in an FI system!

I do not have the advance curves in front of me, but it should be very easy to figure out if you have a variable timing light. It is a function of the distributor, seeing how my 1.9L is a European engine it is more than likely a different curve that the North American ones.

Anyone out there ever think of installing a Scirocco distributor for more 'radical' timing?

I'm slowly making progress on gettingthe Haltech FI system to work, but wondered if anyone out there knew the exact advance curev the Dijifant throws at the engine. 5 dgrees before TDC at idle, but how quickly does it get to full advance and what is the final max. advance number? Also, does the ECU tail off the max advance a few degrees as manifold vaccum nears 0 under full load. Thanks for the advice
