In DE, we only pay when purchasing a vehicle. I think it is 2% of purchase price. After that we pay $20 a year for a sticker that you get after it passes the inspection. Otherwise, DE has no sales tax, but does have an income tax.

What is that? > Jay in DE And you call yourself an American?? :) In Utah, it used to be considered a property tax, but they changed it to a "fee assement," which means it can no longer be deducted on the old tax form. Which other states don't have property tax, fee, assesment, bills???? John
