hi all, I'm a newbie to the list and I have a couple of questions. I have an '84 westy. I used to have a '78 but that is a different story. Anyway, I have been thinking about a second battery and I have been wondering about the advantages of doing this. Now I really don't use the fridge for anything other than storage because on long trips it does not get that cold anyway and it runs fine off of the propane tank. Are there any other advantages?
Also, I have some minor rust that I want to take care of. I got an estimate of about $700 from a body shop and I don't have the cash so I was thinking about taking care of it myself. I have never done body work but I know the basics. I guess what I'm looking for is some tips from someone who has done body work before. If there is anyone in the Chicago land area who is comfortable with body work and would like to lend a hand please p-mail me. (I'm in Arlington Heights) Thanks all Sean '84 westy |
