Well, yeah, clamp by clamp I'm replacing mine, just haven't wanted to drain the coolant to do the whole thing yet. Lately, I've been keeping a pretty close eye on what's been leaking, and for the time being, it's dry. I've got a general variety of clamps on board for the next eventuality.

As for the aesthetics of the vanagon, I don't think I'll wander down that trail right now. Lately I've seen more of the underside than the shiny side.

Why even bother with the prehistoric spring type clamps, when the stainless screw type clamps are superior?

What are you guys doing?

Keeping the spring clamps for aesthetic value?

That's all their worth---if your showing your Vanagon, they would be correct.
