Well, Jan's '86 Scirocco is terminal. She hammered herself into PARK at 40 MPH. Several listee's have suggested that we could have replaced the auto tranny, or even repaired at minimum cost, but truth is she's got lot's of other minor problems like leaky radiator if you fill to high, interior deteriorating, rusty, hail bent 2 years ago, 150,000 miles plus, etc, etc.

So, we're parting her out. The car, not the wife -;)

Not much here but let me know what you're looking for.

Body is straight, as are the fenders, the rust is concentrated on the right side door and front fenders (lower back corner) Left door has two sapots also.

The seven spoke 5 1/2 x 13 inch wheels are a bit dirty, but straight.

It's got the 16 valve style rear deck and spoiler, but the engine is an 8 valve w/automatic!

Interior is gray with black stripes, not too bad shape. NO TEARS in seats!

We're in Southern New Jersey. Moorestown area - soon to be Tabernackle.

If someone wants the whole thing for a rally or auto cross car? Let me know otherwise SyncroBeast (mandatory Vanagon content) will be towing her to the new house the weekend of the 9th and 10th of June and the parting out party will commence.

Oh, the VERY RED! comment?? We just bought Jan a BRIGHT RED '99 Beetle GLS. I married her even though she had a Chevette (broken rear springs, they all had em). Soon as I could, I got her into VW, and she has insisted on something flashy and sporty ever since.
