Sort of realted, but i had a canvas tent that got moldy because it was put away a bit damp. The mildew stains were really annoying. I diluted some bleach, put it in a spray bottle and sprayed down the whole tent. I let it sit for about 10 or 15 minutes and then hosed it off. It worked great.
