I've got 5 of the little suckers mounted right on top of the dash in of the drives side. They don't obscure visibility at all, but they do create a bit of an orange reflection in the windshield. I can't help you with the housing. Mine is an ugly plastic thing that I will soon be replacing with, I hope, a flat black-painted piece of aluminum that a welder friend is making up. Five of the 2" gauges nicely fills up most of the space across the instrument cluster giving a pretty balanced look to the dash. If I had only two or three I would consider mounting them in a vertical stack either to the left or the right of the instrument cluster. In addition to the three gauges you mention I also have a water temp and a boost gauge for a supercharger. If you would like I can send you a .jpeg of the setup I currently have.

My .02.
