Yep....I may have created a monster..!.. but.. I'll keep a list of all coorespondance/people as well as a map with pins for people and suggested parks. When the time comes for reservations..etc.. we can work all of that through one of us to keep confusion to a minimum.

Thank you for the suggestions of camping areas... there are many more to choose from than I realized. We are pretty new to Texas so need to/and are ready to explore the state.

It does appear that a central location wont be hard to locate... your idea of a (screened) shelter is also a good call. I know parks like Martin Dies Jr. have them and it could make for nice evening visits.
