They are different. The clips for the sliding door panel clip from behind and are not seen when installed. The clips for the hatch panel go through the panel and are visible at all times.

Hi,

Could somebody please confirm that the clips used to hold the rear hatch panel in place, in a 1984 Westy (wood panel with basketweave vinyl), are the same that are used to hold the sliding door panel.

I need to re-do the sliding door panel (currently have ugly black aftermarket clips), and the only beige clips listed on BusDepot/WestCoastMetric (253 8670BG) are said to be for the hatch panel. Will they work?

TIA,

Éric
