It's not elegant, but I use a light tarp... the kind you find at Wal-Mart or Home Depot for around $8. I just fling it over the top and tie it down to door handles, tow loops, or whatever is handy. This plus a silver windshield insert seems to do the job for me. And it also gets hot here in (sometimes) sunny Kansas.
