Another oddly-named Alaskan town is Tok (pronounced "toke") The name has
nothing to do with smoking -- it's a contraction of "Little Tokyo," for it
was the site of a labor camp for Japanese-Americans set to work on building
the Al-Can Highway.

OVC: I'm hoping to get my Westy up to it's namesake city -- Valdiz, AK --
next summer, finances and vacation time permitting.
