Subject: Roof Rack for Westy?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi folks,

I am looking for a surfboard carrier / roof rack to be mounted on my Westy. Since itīs a Pop-Top, the rack gotta be mounted to the Top instead of the siderails of the can (bolt-through-the-roof...). In Europe thereīs a system called Sherpa, which allows the rack to be pulled out to the side of the van and to be lowered, which makes loading of the rack easy; after fixing the boards on the rack, the rack-rails are moved up again, slide back onto the roof and locked in position. Is there anything like this available in the U.S.? Any idea for any rack system are welcome.

Thanks, regards Chris www.knust-net.de
