This hose popped on me in the middle of B.F.Egypt on a Sunday! Went into a small ma-n-pa hardware store and purchased a small length of 3/4" radiator hose, an assortment of galvanized pipes, reducers and elbow. I was promptly on my way. The contraption still survives on my engine many years later. I have lately added a tee and pressure gauge at this spot.
