Well no-one drives at the redline for long, however, around here in the Windy, I have the hammer down often, just trying to get out of peoples way.

I totally got a different impression from your first posting. It sounded like to me you pinned the AFM, when you were on gas, not propane.

The butterfly is where you put it. Zero throttle- closed Half throttle- half butterfly WFO- Totally open butterfly.

It's the AFM that fluctuates, depending on the call for juice from the computer, or the position of the throttle.

I still don't understand how the engine could run correctly regardless of what fuel it was running, with the AFM pinned totally open.

It would have to blubber like crazy.

Just my thoughts----
