Warren,

I’ve asked the same question; the best I’ve been able to get is that the Preston version of phosphate free (orange) is the same.

hey now, If anyone can help with an answer, how important is the (Blue) phosphate free coolant in the 1988 Vanagon GL's? One expert told me to only put in the special (blue) mix and another said it does not matter all coolants are phosphate free nowadays. Hope you all can help me out thanks. Warren
