I just put a set of KYBs on my Westy (Thank you, Vanagain!) and I am very
satisfied with the ride.  It is nice and euro-firm, just the way it should
be, with much-improved stability in cross winds.  I did notice that the
once-saggy rear of my Westy is now sitting nearly level thanks to the
gas-charged rear KYBs.

Now my tall '85 looks even more like a Syncro!

It's shock time.  My KYBs have degenerated to point where I feel like
I'm piloting a boat on the freeway.  But then they do have about 150,000
miles on them.

The Bilstein's are high pressure for both front and rear, while the KYB
uses a low pressure front shock.

What are the opinions of the Bilstein users out there?  Are they worth a
$210 premium over the KYBs, even with the lifetime warranty?

What about KYBs on the rear and Bilsteins on the front to get high
pressure all around for $100 less?

There are some Bilstein users out there, right?  Let me hear from you!
