Hey I am one of those young owners.

I am 20 years old and drive an 85 westy...it is true though, they are a bit expensive-- i would have never been able to afford my van if I hadn't traded for it. All I could ever afford were beetles! anyway it was such a good trade. has anyone else ever traded for their vanagons? I traded a craptastic 86 jeep cherokee (the one made by AMC with the horrible 2.8l V-6) for my beautiful westy with no cash exchanged! -daniel
