Subject: throttle body round thing underneath
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi everyone, Does anyone know if the grey plastic round part that is under the throttle body, the part that actually turns and hits the throttle valve switch, is available aftermarket? I bought a new throttle valve switch because I thought mine was not working, because it adjusting it and testing it would bring the correct readings. Well, I installed the new one, and it would not work either. It seems that the little grey plastic part that turns and has two points that trigger the switch is worn down a bit so it would not hit the metal trigger on the switch. I rigged it up and got my old switch to work correctly by bending the metal part, it works pretty good but it is a little sticky because I bent the metal trigger a little too sharply. But yeah, since I have a brand new $60 throttle valve switch that would work great if I had a new grey plastic wheel, I would like to find one of these grey plastic thingys.

Thanks, Kim 85 gl _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
