Hello Everyone,
I have got a little story for your amusement.
One night last fall, I was traveling home when I noticed a car following me.
  I did my normal routine of trying to find a parking spot in my Chicago
neighborhood, noticing that the same car was tailing me.  I was a little
concerned, but didn't give it too much thought.  Finally, after driving
around in circles, I found a spot.  After parking, the guy that had been
tailing me for the last twenty minutes came running up to me.  He said "Man,
I didn't think you were ever going to stop.  I have been following you
forever."  Then he proceeds to BEG me to sell him my van.  He told me about
how he used to have one many years ago and hasn't seen another Westy in the
Chicago area EVER, until mine.  I told him I appreciated the offer, but
wasn't willing to give up my newly acquired Westy :-)  I did tell him about
this list though, and said he might be able to find a vanagon online, as I
did.  He wasn't interested, he wanted my Westy!
He was very dissappointed, and walked back to his car with his head hung
low.  BTW, he was much older than I.  I am only 28 :-)
