I love my 85GL 1.9l sure it has its momets, leaky head heck I'll just
make sure it does'nt get worse or warp the heads. But I have faith in
my VW motor loving every mile I drive. and if something happens thats life

!!rebuild it!!

my 1.9 is little sure, but it takes me all over the place. pushing
70ish in 80+ heat.  BTW it loves the heat, maybe its like its aircooled
cuz'n. :)  ** always giving it rest if needed ** pull over

It seems that if a person is going to spend $4K to $5K on the Subie
conversion and end up with a 100K mile motor , that the Tiico conversion
would be a lot better choice.

  it is rhetorical.. the subaru engine is a smarter choice..   if you can do
  the conversion, its well worth it.    no need to answer :<)
