I drove to LA and back at 80mph plus in my 87 GL pretty much nonstop with the
AC running the whole time. Well, I did make some fuel and bathroom stops.
Original headgaskets.

Did the a similar trip in my 86 Syncro GL. Averaged 70-75 mph. Stopped only
due to an exploded old tire.

75 mph is nothing to brag about.

Collector value is already there somewhat. Are you folks not willing to pay
more for a 91 and earlier Vanagon than you are a 1993 Eurovan? I know my 16"
Syncro already has collector value now.
