I've done two of these conversions and both times the customers were so sick of their waterboxer woes that they gladly paid the money up front for the Tiico kit. They paid cash and waited for their conversions. Both times the kits arrived and were installed. Now Peter is able to take credit cards. This is much more convenient since you can put the kit on a card and if there are any problems you can get your money back from the credit card people. The kits are a special order item and many specialty places require a full payment up front for these types of items and I will tell you why: Because special order items require more pain than usual to order and get and when a customer decides a week before the item arrives and he no longer wants it, you already have his money. Then you have the power of deciding what kind of a refund you are going to give (full or partial). It is no fun, as a person who is trying to make special order parts available, and doing the extra work to make this a reality, to be stuck with expensive parts sitting on the shelf. BTDT.
